Midweek Magic returns to The Black Box, Belfast on Wednesday June 14th. It’s Northern Ireland’s only recurring magic night for the public. 4 magicians performing close up magic in the Green Room of The Black Box. Great bar, great music and mind melting magic right at your table.

Meetings, meetings and more meetings. I met with web designers, brand specialists and photographers to chat all things ‘Caolan McBride Magic’ and what’s coming in terms of my magic shows and other exciting projects that I’m working on.
I travelled to New Cross College in Dublin to perform 3 specially tailored magic shows for 1st and 2nd years and then 3rd year students and their guests as part of the Erasmus student exchange program.
Wednesday saw me back in Dublin. This time in Trinity Comprehensive for the 3rd year graduation ceremonies. I have been performing in secondary education schools in Dublin and the surrounding area for many years and I’m very proud of the show that I have developed for the students. I’m extremely grateful to the JCSP Librarians who bring me down to perform my Magic.
Wedding Bells! I spent Thursday afternoon at the beautiful Ballydugan Mill in Downpatrick performing Walkabout Magic for all of the guests at Enya and Conor’s wedding. A wedding magician? Yep! Performing Magic at wedding receptions is one of my favourite things to do and I had a blast performing Magic for Enya and Conor and their guests. On Friday afternoon I got to perform at Penrhyn Prep’s end of school year celebrations. This time, walkabout magic, close up magic for students and parents. I had such a ball. Plenty of laughter from the kids, parents AND me. I also got to test out some exciting new magic tricks that I have been working on. I can happily report that they were a success!
I spent Saturday in my favourite coffee shop writing a brand new magic show that I’ve been working on. It’s all very ‘hush hush’ at the moment but I will be announcing it in the coming weeks! Stay tuned!
Magic, BBQ and dogs! What a great way to round off my week. I spent the afternoon at The Rabbit Hotel and Retreat at their dog friendly Barbecue Sunday. It was a beautifully sunny day in the picturesque gardens of The Rabbit Hotel. A relaxed, bank holiday weekend gathering of happy families. I met some very nice people and together we created some magic moments in the sun.

Caolan has returned from a successful 3 month tour of America and has hit the ground running with a brand new show for private events all about Choice and Consequence as well as an exciting up close card magic show soon to be announced!

All magic is not the same. Midweek Magic Club is the magic equivalent of a garage band playing in a sweaty basement bar. It’s rough, it’s intimate, it’s full of raw energy and we’re going to be right up in your faces blowing your minds.
MWMC is a two and a half hour event which is all about the close up. Close up magic that happens right at your table. It was the first event that Seedhead ever set up and it’s still one of our favourites because it changes the dynamic of what it means to go to a show. It’s an over 18s event that allows you to see old friends or make new ones because the micro performances are spread out over the evening, allowing you to socialise and have a beer in-between.
There’s really not another night like it in Belfast. TICKETS HERE!

The show takes place in a 12,000 sq foot space that has been transformed with incredible scenic detail into Cahoots’ very own Ghost House. You will be walking through the experience, entering various different rooms and watching exciting pieces of theatre, dance and magic as our ghost story unfolds.
Midweek Magic is Northern Ireland’s ONLY recurring night of magic performance for the public. 10 years on the go at the fabulous Black Box in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter and it hasn’t lost it’s style. A totally unique night of Close-Up Magic from FOUR MAGICIANS, great music and a great bar.
