A Busy Week of Magic Across Dublin, Belfast and Northern Ireland
The past few weeks have been an incredible whirlwind of performances, taking me across Ireland for educational events, weddings and corporate entertainment.
One of the highlights was performing six maths-themed magic shows in Dublin as part of Maths Week Ireland. These interactive performances combined mathematics, psychology and illusion to demonstrate just how fascinating numbers can be when experienced through live magic. It was fantastic to meet so many engaged students and teachers throughout the week.
The educational tour then continued in Belfast, where I presented a further three shows as part of Numeracy Week, using mind-reading, mathematical principles and audience participation to bring numbers to life in a memorable and entertaining way.
Away from the school stage, wedding season remains in full swing. Over the past week alone, I had the pleasure of performing at three very different weddings across Northern Ireland.
These included large hotel celebrations filled with guests from across the UK and Ireland, as well as a much smaller and more intimate wedding reception at SHU Restaurant Belfast. The atmosphere at SHU was exceptional. Its warm, elegant setting created the perfect environment for close-up magic, allowing guests to experience moments of astonishment just inches from their eyes. It was a beautiful venue and one that complemented the magic wonderfully.
Another wedding brought me back to one of my favourite venues, The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat, where I regularly perform. The Rabbit continues to be one of Northern Ireland's most exciting wedding and events venues, and it's always a pleasure to return.
